2. Brush Mod Podge onto your cuff. It's best to work on a small area at a time.
3. Tear out strips of the comic and wrap it around the cuff where there is glue. Use scrap pieces to fill in the spots where the strip didn't completely wrap around.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the entire cuff is covered.
5. Brush a layer of Mod Podge on the cuff to seal the comic. The glue will dry clear.
6. After an hour, your bracelet is ready to wear!
A quick and easy (slightly sticky) project. :)

hey, you called it Modge Podge too! Just recently I was reading a post online and the person was talking about Mod Podge and I was like "What? Mod Podge, duh, doesn't she know it's Modge Podge" and I ran to get my bottle and clearly it says Mod Podge. I was completely confused as to why I've grown up and lived my entire life calling it Modge Podge when it is actually called Mod Podge. I was just telling my sister about this and she came to the conclusion that because when you craft with Mod Podge often you are decoupaging (like you did above) and because of the "page" at the end and the Podge in the product, everyone just adds the "ge" onto the end of the Modge. Maybe it is a regional thing too?
ReplyDeleteHow embarrassing! Thank you for calling that to my attention. It's fixed now (and hopefully in my head too). That is strange that we both called it that!

DeleteJust a thought, you could also use the empty spool from a spool of masking or painters tape. It works just as well and it's cheaper and you'll get to feel good for recycling too!
ReplyDeleteThat's a fantastic idea!!! :)
