Hello! I'm Mandy Crandell. I'm a photographer, crafter, and music snob who just can't seem to sit still.
Roadside attractions, dinosaurs, CBGB, summer, Tim Burton, diners, Dinosaur Jr, road trips, Drew Barrymore, instant film, and anything retro are things that make me squeal with joy. Dancing (especially ballet) is like breathing. Somehow, I got lost in the early 90s, and I refuse to leave. I've always stuck out like a sore thumb, and I intend to keep it that way.
I have two sweet fur babies: a "tiny" puppy and a sweet baby kitty. I love them so, so much!
SOMETHiNG MONUMENTAL started developing in 2005. What started out as just a name for some of my artwork (as well as a way to treat each day) has grown into a photography, jewelry, accessories, and art brand. Sometimes I still have to pinch myself to make sure it's all real.
