It's finished! I had mentioned
before that I was going to hang some of my Polaroids (and Fuji film). That's about the only progress I've made on my little workspace. Hopefully, it'll be in a more finished state soon. Probably not, though. I'm not kidding anyone.
The Polaroids are mostly of different places here in Indianapolis and strange roadside attractions. I used white elastic for the line, because it reminded me of the clothesline my mom used to have in our backyard. I loved that silly thing.
I'm already plotting more of these and some framed photos on the walls.

I REALLY love how that looks! Well done :)
ReplyDeleteHow did you secure the ends of the elastic? This looks great, I've been wanting to do something similar to hang the art i get in the mail. : )
ReplyDeleteI think I will have to mimic this idea, it is amazing! I have so many Polaroids sitting in a box but to have them up on the wall would be magical. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sarah!
ReplyDeleteFelicity: I tied a knot with a loop at each end of the elastic and hooked the loops on thumbtacks.
Paradox: I have mine in all sorts of different albums. You'll have to do this. I love looking at them everyday.
I really need to do something like this, i love it! we have TONS of photos and I really dont care to have my photos sitting around in albums. Have you seen photo wreaths? I kinda like the idea of those as well!!
ReplyDeleteFrances: Thanks! I haven't heard of photo wreaths. I'm off to check them out!
ReplyDeleteLove how this looks, great idea. Very original
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
